Indeed. Also, every report also feels the need to mention that arse in the White House.

I’ve seen photos of this particular jetty flooded before. How often do you reckon the water levels were this high?

I’m not aware of any other Starcruiser kits other than the one you’ve mentioned and the separate Interceptor. That said, I’m no expert 😬

I had the larger, separately available, Starcruiser Interceptor kit when I was a kid.

A very flooded Ashness Gate jetty on Derwentwater from last week. I’ve never seen the lake this high, however it’s not particularly surprising given the amount of rain during the middle of September.

Photograph of a flooded jetty. The long exposure has smoothed out the small waves. In the background are hills.

That said, I am partial to Pfeffernüsse and I will be able to buy some very soon 😬

I don’t mind the idea of Christmas, at least the pagan/old European roots of winter festivals. It’s just the rampant over-commercialisation, starting as soon as summer’s over, that frustrates.

Yep, it’s a story that’s stuck with me. It’s been over 30 years for me; lent a copy of the Bachman Books to someone at uni in the early 90s and never got it back.
