The other reason they're so overrepresented is because not enough men are being checked out. It makes no sense to have a high rate of women with STDs/STIs but not the men they got them from and I fucking hate it. We as Black men need to do better.

Young BW are disproportionately represented in STI epidemiology because BW in general are hypersexualized/live with worse rates of intimate abuse across our lifespans + depending on the infection age is the biggest risk factor.
