All those people downtown yesterday, no ICE involvement, and not one incident. ICE shows up in a neighborhood and now another Minnesotan is dead. It's pretty obvious who the violent outside agitators are.

The gun was removed by agents from his waistband - he was never pointing it at them. He was already disarmed when they fired "defensive shots," killing the man. They then fired several shots at his lifeless body.

ICE kidnap a minor child from his job because of the color of his skin, terrorize him, physically abuse him, then abandon him miles away from either his job or his home. Listening to him brings tears to my eyes. If someone were to do such a thing to my 18yo...hell hath no fury...
ICE kidnap 17-year-old U.S. citizen working at Target then dump him bleeding and crying miles away in a Walmart parking lot… 🤬

Mental note -- when mentioning the Washington Post's past reporting in lecture, be sure to add as an aside that it was once an outlet with a good reputation, otherwise students will be confused.

An associate dean told English faculty “literature with major plot lines that concern gay, lesbian or transgender identities should not be taught in core-curriculum classes…faculty may assign textbooks with chapters that cover transgender identity, so long as they do not talk about the material.”🙃

Since ETS only keeps GRE scores for five years, good luck dredging up my scores from 1987. Evidently it would be possible to get my 1982 ACT scores, though it's ludicrous to think that scores on a test I took at age 15 are more relevant than my graduate studies or intervening work experience.
