Criminal damage is a valid and effective tactic against oppression with a proud history through anti-slavery, universal suffrage, Irish emancipation, and antifascism. You are not obliged to risk it yourself, but endangering those who do risk it is stupid and dangerous.
Yeah apparently I was not informed of the Organizing Rule that when masked men start burning down random stuff in the middle of your neighborhood, the correct, comradely response is to turn your camera off and look the other way. That’s why we have experts like you!

Since gamergate, I have have in the back of my mind what one might call ‘fascist recruiting tactics.’ Some of these could be called 1) unlock forbidden wishes, promise to satisfy them 2) use inequality to create envy + promise share of spoils 3) create belonging by promising ‘total acceptance.’
