He's clearly having a seizure, and they won't stop trying to drag him and the baby out of the car. It looks like he can't let go of the baby because he's seizing. The fear/shock likely brought it on.

STOP! STOP this sadistic thuggery. It's all awful, but this one broke me. They are human beings.
DON’T LOOK AWAY. This is domestic terror.
Wise words in troubled times. When you allow yourself to become cynical, you give up your power. None of us have or should indulge ourselves in that luxury in these fraught moments.
Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

I caught that moment. It was indeed just right!!
Gov. Kathy Hochul just said Elise Stefanik “is full of shit” on @allinwithchris.bsky.social 😂 (re Stefanik’s “jihadist” comments). Her delivery was perfect

I've been a fan of Landsbergis' clear-eyed observations and analyses of the Putin/Russia situation. Putin is on his back leg atm. Now is the time to press harder, not waffle or back off.

This is infuriating! Some serious education is needed as well as spine implants. Good grief, Florida! Far too many of you supported Republicans. You could have voted present. Not great and a bit cowardly, but at least not reinforcing GOP billionaires' disinformation.

Ok, #Orlando, we need to think outside the box. We already have the free but very limited Lymmo. If we're going to get TDT money or have to go for an additional .5% or 1% sales tax to cover public transit, let's have a bold plan that includes free buses and many more routes. So many benefits!

They're consistent if nothing else. We should work harder to get the public to understand that when they say they are ONLY going after criminals, they include every undocumented person. because they contend all of them are "criminals" by virtue of being undocumented, even tho it's a civil matter.
this defies parody. also helps explain why Sec Bessent bizarrely blamed immigrants when confronted with a question about high beef prices

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

Ellis repeatedly accuses multiple CBP and ICE officials of lying (under oath) and says their "widespread misrepresentations call into question everything" they "say they are doing in their characterization of what is happening." She broadly discredits their testimony as objectively false.
U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis just handed down the written opinion version of her preliminary injunction order, regarding use of force by federal agents in Chicago.

It's the one already put on hold by the 7th Circuit.

It's 233 pages.

A truly terrible idea!! It's moving backwards for most, if not all, who are currently on the ACA.
This is a terrible idea. If any Democrats are willing to support it, they should lose their seat.
"A development that appeared to break the logjam: Republicans proposed that healthcare funding be provided directly to households rather than used to pay for a 1-year extension of ACA subsidies. That involves sending federal money into FSAs instead of insurance companies" www.wsj.com/politics/pol...

This is, arguably, a credible death threat by the President of the US against each of the speakers in the video; because he knows very well the impact this will have on a sizable cohort of his followers. They will understand this as a call to action, which he fully expects. The evil knows no bounds.

In Minnesota police set up a sting operation to catch child sex traffickers.

They caught 16 men. No immigrants. No trans people. All US Citizen Men.

One was an ICE fascist who said, "I'm ICE boys" when arrested, perhaps expecting to get special attention. He was arrested anyway.

So much winning.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's big takedown of Trump today is powerful because it broadcasts that he's losing control over the GOP. His sudden call for release of files wasn't about transparency. It was about sustaining the illusion that he controls the party.

Neither of these men has a scintilla of a moral core. They are both utterly amoral, sadistic, and mysoginistic narcissists. Of the two, bin Salman is the more intelligent and thus the more dangerous.
Trump just called Mohammed bin Salman a "very good friend" and added, "we've always been on the same side of every issue."

This is the first time MBS has been on U.S. soil since Saudi agents murdered and dismembered Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump praised MBS's record on human rights.

This is a truly brutal opinion, from that opening quote on down. Between that and the timing and some technical things about it (constitutional, not just VRA), this is really jamming SCOTUS as hard as possible to let it stand.

I wouldn't bet on it, but it wouldn't be totally shocking if it works.

Trump is welcoming MBS, the Saudi crown prince, to the White House. This is the dictator who had a U.S. columnist murdered for criticizing the Saudi royal family.

Sadly, we have a president who prefers the Saudi model — an autocracy run by a trillionaire family — to democracy.

Excellent advice!
The more MTG can split MAGA the better. I just would strongly recommend no one on our side actually trust her! She could flip back again quickly if she sees it in her best interest to do so.
This just in: Marjorie Taylor Greene is still as vile, bigoted and despicable as before.
