I am Jennifer.
Cancer is a disease, not an adventurous journey. Just like everyone else, he deserves to get medical treatment w/o selling off his possessions.

What do people do, who are worth less than $3 - $8 million do? They die sooner.

High turnout & a public rejection of the regime & its policies will be crucial, but so will responses that anticipate regime lawlessness that any reasonable & informed observer should be able to easily see coming.

No we won't. Because we're not in a cult.

Did you ask people who oppose collecting race information what their race is?

The answers given sound like what a white person would say.
We also asked adults who oppose collecting race information in federal surveys to tell us more, in their own words. The top reasons given are:

- Race is not important (26%)
- All humans are equal (12%)
- Privacy concerns (9%)
- Risk of discrimination (9%)

Science as practiced in its best form is asking questions. Sometimes you get the outcome you expected; sometimes you don't.

Someone who is invested in the next question is a scientist.

Someone who is invested in the outcome has an agenda other than science.
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

I remember a therapist recommending something from Dr. Oz. My response, "You can't be serious; he's a television personality."
Q: So Dr Oz said that--

JEFFRIES: Who? Nobody who is serious in this country takes Dr Oz seriously.

As a linguist, this is bullshit. McWhorter’s deal is to bend over backwards to excuse racism.
In Opinion

Early in Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral campaign, “it was easy to assume that failure to learn his name reflected a failure to take him seriously,” John McWhorter writes. But “as a matter of pure linguistics, it would be surprising if people didn’t have trouble with the name Mamdani.”
Opinion | I Now Mispronounce You the Likely Next Mayor of New York City
A lot of people seem to trip over Zohran Mamdani’s name. The reason may not be as simple as it seems.

The thing about being fat is everyone who isn't fat gives you the same canned advice for how to not be fat and they don't believe you when you tell them you've tried it and it did not work.

It's an attempt at disavowal of responsibility by letting someone else decide for me. But the person is responsible for the outcome; they are choosing. Impact, not intent, is what matters. People who didn't vote in the last presidential election chose the outcome, i.e. they chose Trump.
This narcissistic attitude that sees a vote as a curated extension of your personal brand or a version of a celebrity endorsement is going to be the death of this nation.

Another way of saying this is that your tax dollars systematically subsidize Wall-Mart’s massive profits (and so many other corporations in so many ways).
Sam's Club is part of Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart workers are among the largest recipients of SNAP in this country. Apparently, some Wal-Marts will help employees fill out SNAP applications as part of their HR paperwork. When people start going hungry on Nov 1 part of the reason is companies underpay them

A true “let them eat cake” juxtaposition as Trump builds a ballroom and refuses to concede to shutdown demands while children and elders starve and smaller rural economies collapse.

This is the reminder that SNAP makes money, up to 160% of every dollar spent, because it’s direct to local economies.
