I don't think I'll ever understand why Pink Floyd decided to go with the Roy Harper version of Have a Cigar. The version with Roger singing lead is actually better.

I wonder why Pink Floyd chose this particular LA Sports Arena show for the 50th anniversary WYWH set? I feel like I've heard better bootlegs for some of these but maybe I'm misremembering.

Re: 50th anniversary release of Wish You Were Here (came out today) - if you hadn't listened to, e.g., the Animals bootlegs and already knew this, I feel like the live stuff on Disc 3 sorta exonerates Roger of the idea that he can't play bass. He was quite serviceable live, at least in the 70s.
