Co-development can at best save a few studios and individual devs who are good at co-development. Bravo to them, but [single thing with localized impact] can't "save" an industry under powerful financial pressures from multiple angles.

They're probably gonna call them Meta ICE. Creeps.
"Meta, Facebook’s parent company, plans to add the feature to its smart glasses, which it makes with the owner of Ray-Ban and Oakley, as soon as this year, according to four people involved with the plans who were not authorized to speak publicly about confidential discussions."

This Black Myth: Zion Kui Chinese New Year Special is utterly delightful and has the most edible videogame food since Ichiban Kasuga's bread in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. My mouth is watering.

Thanks to extreme process-as-punishment measures, many people have suffered greatly for defying this ban, even if they have not been convicted, or will now have their convictions quashed.
It all points to a very grim conclusion: democracy in the UK is being stifled.
By a Labour government.

Palantir, a US spy-tech firm, has been given access to millions of NHS patient records.

Its founder has said the NHS should be 'ripped up'.

Join me in calling on the government to end the dangerous Palantir contract.

Stop Palantir taking over our public services!
Our public services aren’t for a secretive profit-hungry US tech firm. Sign the petition to tell the Government to scrap all contracts with secretive US tech firm Palantir.

I cannot stress enough how enjoyable it is to deprive that withered old cunt of your money. Waterstones, Argos, Boots - it is so easy to get whatever you need, and it feels kinda fun, like taking a holiday in 90s Britain
Just ordered a book from my local Waterstones. Click and collect so I’ll get it on way home tonight. As cheap as Amazon. Also bought an instant camera earlier this week from Argos, cheaper than on Amazon. It’s proving very easy not to use the evil billionaire’s website. More of you should try it.

i have said this but i do feel like we're going to have to move in a direction where people who work in different creative fields/"industries" need to intermingle more to survive especially as what these industries even are and what they encompass become more and more diffuse

It took Mindware’s Mikito Ichikawa aiding Nintendo and Sony (SCEI) et al. to revoke Sega’s patents on the viewpoint camera via his company’s 1991 releases Magical Shot and Star Wars: Attack of the Death Star. It’s also why Indy 500, Scud Race and Daytona USA 2 renamed the V.R. Button to View Change!

It's an indictment of the entertainment industry as well, because I'm fairly sure Sony (the producers of Dawson's Creek), WB (which aired it), Disney (which owned and aired Don't Trust the B*) & Paramount (which produced Varsity Blues) made money off of him & should have insured him for life.

Threads director Mick Jackson has expressed worry over the upcoming remake’s focus on finding “hope even in the most challenging of times.”

“That one phrase worried me,” he tells Empire. “Hope is not part of nuclear war.”

This is wonderful.

Thinking it wouldn’t be necessary if artists could still profit commercially from the success of our work.

But multi billion dollar corporations decided they’d like it all for free, thanks, to offer to the public for almost nothing.

Irish taxpayers will now subsidise that.

"Unfortunately, along with most of the team at Wildlight, I was laid off today.

This one really stings as there was a lot of unreleased content I was really looking forward to that I and others designed for Highguard."
