hey so we’re all aware that the “no ai” clause only exists here to generate a fresh crop of user-created videos, images, and audio files to then train more ai on, right? we’re all privy to the knowledge that jack dorsey is bffs with elon musk and LOVES ai and the potential profits therein, yes?
I think once you can see thing in these perspectives it feels like you have a vast a diverse view when its actually still limited to a single dynamic. It is no doubt useful to see and be able to link all angles together though. Ex; employer paternalism can be dealt with any number of seeming ways.

The most common perspective, that of the consumer, the producer, the negotiator, the artisan, finally the businessman are often the only perspective you will ever hear. So much of even progressive support has been so limited to these lenses, where you can instead look at it thru a materialist lens

dispatch is not really my thing but having now watched my spouse play through it ive become addicted to watching it. couldnt figure out why until i realized the sound and voice acting is super recognizable and soothing. Some of the best VO work out there

Occaisionally i have to interact with people who reference the john galt speech when they do anti socialism. Without even needing to address the work or it horrid author, i have found it easier these days to just hold a mirror up to it at the capitalist system. Even with its distortions.

"the act of killing" makes the genocides that happened feel much more possible here. Similar attitudes and methods of thinkings and speaking. Some justification that killing communists is ok, but refusing to endorse nazis, the best they can do is sheepishly both sides while mass killing one side.

Social democracy is an ism like the rest. I think that we can be a little averse to labels, and the caution is warranted, especially if it prevents you from working together, instead of showing up for the shared things and simply not for the things you dont stand for- just remember 1/2
