I think what I need people to know the most is that federal workers have been 1st in line organizing against and decrying every preventable death due to Congress’s sick apathy towards our workers. It’s a big reason why I took my job in the first place. This could be a better world for all of us.

there is an untold amount of key numbers that run everybody’s year ahead. Things like Medicare, your last yr tax return impacting how much you pay for medicare, and what the base cost is in the first place. You don’t even know. I got DOGEd and I don’t. Congress has simply left our shit for the birds

Social Security has an overhead of 1% while private insurance companies have like 20-25% overhead. And SSA hasn't missed a payment in 90 years.

Social Security does not add one penny to the national deficit. Social Security is the most sacred promise that we have all made to each other. They are absolutely demolishing those employees but they keep showing up for us all. While being at an all time 50 year staffing low for the last 2 years.

The social security admin has been contracted with and using AWS for phone service for quite some time, so every time a poor person calls, with 1 staffer for every 2000 people (now ???increasing), Bezos has already been getting a kickback from us all

But that's the plan. Gut govt agencies of workers & funding, then allow private, for-profit companies to assume those government functions. We would directly pay companies for our mail, our weather forecasts, schools, roads, law enf, fire protection, etc etc etc
America will be a corporation.
