Rewatch complete of Lau Kar-leung’s masterful tale of tragedy and grief. The death of Fu Sheng is felt all throughout. Gordon Liu shines as always but it’s the unparalleled weapon work and choreography on display that steals the movie. The finale has to be seen to be believed. A true masterpiece.
