Blue dot, red state. Social media makes us all believe we have something insightful and relevant to say, but mostly it's just the same regurgitated platitudes. I count myself among the regurgitating masses.

If I err in my ideas and beliefs, I would rather do so in pursuit of kindness and justice than grievance and hate.
There's no way for maga to square this with the administration's blowing up alleged "drug boats" and the pressure it's exerting on Venezuela in the name of fighting the war on drugs. Mostly, supporters will just ignore the glaring hypocrisy, and for those with power, hypocrisy doesn't exist.
Reporter: The former president of Honduras was found guilty in a US federal court of working with drug cartels, conspiring to distribute more than 400 tons of cocaine toward the US. He was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison, but all of that changed this week when he was pardoned by Trump.

I can bear to watch only about 1% of these videos posted, but it crucial that they exist.

Someday, people will deny this stuff ever happened.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

Reminds me of a toddler at his birthday party strapped into a highchair with a smash cake and everyone watching to see what the special little guy will do.

While Cabinet members praise his energy and fitness, Trump sleeps.

No satire in the history of film and television has ever been this on the mark.
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.

It's like your idiot uncle who's always getting his Facebook account hacked is now running the country. He shares every BS story he comes across. The unseriousness hits new lows daily.
President Trump has posted on Truth Social hundreds of times in the last two hours.

I can’t even get the full count; it’s that many posts.

Here are just two of the posts.

In a separate post, I will share a screen recording of all the posts which goes on for nearly five minutes.

Tuberville’s spox Mallory Jaspers, surely now only on campaign’s payroll instead of also Congressional books, saying “if Comrade Doug wants to get blown out again, be our guest” shouldn’t surprise. It’s how many current ‘conservatives’ bluster and posture. Carry on. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

I would love a Tubberville v Jones debate. Doug would dismantle Tommy. His people know it and so does he, so it's unlikely to happen.

The chances of Jones winning are low, but it'll be nice to have a legitimate candidate on the Dem side again.

My column from Monday. For the cost of an incomplete 4,000-bed prison in Elmore, Alabama could have paid for five years of health insurance and peace of mind for 174,000 Alabamians.

But our leaders don’t care. Because Alabama government is not designed to help people. It’s meant to control them.
Alabama can never spend enough money on a prison | Alabama Reflector
State leaders who prioritize punishment and control over the welfare of citizens will never see any money spent on walls and bars as wasted.

No one needs more gender affirmation than the theobros and trad husbands shouting about masculinity on the Internet.
I was a college football player/coach. I was a strength and conditioning coach. I run a wood-shop.

I am also a stay at home Dad of 4 who cooks most of our family's meals.

People needing a church to affirm their manliness is crazy to me. As is feeling that other people's beliefs are a threat.

Yes, consumers are famously able to negotiate pricing with giant corporations. I'm sure most of them will also be able to rely on their personal attorney to help with any desired modifications to policy terms and conditions.
He's proposing this again today:

1. Take money away from insurance companies.

2. Give that money to the people.

3. The people can then buy their own insurance.

4. From, presumably, companies that sell insurance.

5. Which are also known as "insurance companies."
November 19, 2025 at 12:46 AM
This strategy assumes no one has even the slightest idea how insurance works. It's not like looking for a good deal on sneakers.

Ultimately, Trump and Republicans just expect the poor and a lot of the middle class just to go without insurance. If you get sick, you just have to suffer or maybe die.
Trump: "THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I'LL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE W/ NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH. THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE & BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

He's just the most despicable human. I've never spoken to anyone like that, yet he does it daily. I'm immensely ashamed to live in a nation where a plurality of my fellow Americans think this is acceptable behavior and good leadership.

For months, President Donald Trump begged America to forget about Jeffrey Epstein.

Now, he’s suddenly once again very interested in figuring out who enabled or even partook in Epstein’s prolific sexual abuse of underage women—as long as the only people being investigated for crimes are Democrats.
