I think other people have made this point, but: if college is just a vocational school -- if its sole purpose is to "prepare young people for jobs" -- then there's no point in college at all! Just create actual vocational schools.

As someone with a film degree I care a lot about what this means for art and the future of cinema.
But what’s stressing me out more is movie theaters are my favorite 3rd place. Ideal way to see friends, or get out of the house. Any amount of theaters closing is going to make life lonelier
