To me, the real challenge is determining which one is the better Nicholas Cage movie:
Con Air or The Rock?

At this point it's Pig, and I'm not sure that gets supplanted. I love the fuck out of that movie.
Otherwise, it's Mandy, because the rampage of revenge film doesn't get better.
Both are standout pieces of acting. Did I vote for two movies? Maybe.
Name your fav Nicolas Cage film

It's easy to conjure the following path:

Real person submits real question to LLM
➙ LLM hallucinates a reference
➙ Real person searches for the reference
➙ LLM captures the request, measuring it as demand³
➙ LLM synthesizes a book-length text¹
➙ Synthesized text makes its way into circulation²
As an author, I’ve already gotten multiple emails from people asking me for fake articles and books that I’ve supposedly written, because chatbots have told them fake references. I *cannot imagine* the frustration and time waste for librarians and especially ILL library professionals right now.

I wish that every single instructor who claims learners have to use the addictive bullshit machines before they can critique the addictive bullshit machines understood how much closer this misunderstanding of "scaffolding" brings us to another PizzaGate scenario, but located in a library or archive.

Grading this semester has been AI hell. I've had to write "this doesn't exist" so many times that now I have a standard response that I can copy and paste. I've given more Fs for cheating this semester than in all of the previous classes combined.

This is right and good.
If you do a google search for “Vim” it asks if you meant “Emacs,” and vice versa. This is pure chaos agent stuff.

The US has only one fucking war it needs to be fighting right now: The War on Ignorance and Lack of Critical Thinking Skills. And probably illiteracy.

You know what's a great way to get people to cut back on how much meat they buy?
🚨NEWS: America's biggest meat processors have allegedly used a secretive data company to collude to hike food prices & suppress wages, according to lawsuit documents reviewed by @levernews.com.

Ground beef prices have increased by over 400% as meat-industry wages have stagnated.

I'm going specifically with Alien: Resurrection.
For one, there's not a lot of Sigourney Weaver vehicles that I've seen outside of the ones with lots of slime in it.
For two, you can tell she's having a good time on a full-bore, gonzo-fest of an alien film.
Name your fav Sigourney Weaver film.
