I threw 140 pitches in my final college baseball game. I hope with all my heart there is another Mariners game this week I’ll need to summon the words for.

If there’s not, well, I hope you can feel every pitch I wrote in this one. www.lookoutlanding.com/editorial/13...
Do not be careful with your hope
From our wildest dreams, we have Game 7 for the first time.

Final Heat Check of the 2025 regular season. In it, I discuss the players who stayed hot throughout the year, including Jonathon Long. There might not be room for him in Chicago but he's going to hit his way onto a big league roster somewhere soon.

Daniel Espino returns and he looked solid.

21 pitches-15 strikes

96-98. Was in the zone and in control. Showed off a cutter/slider, curve and some changeups. Very good stuff for a guy with 2 shoulder surgeries and not pitching since April of 2022

Successful return

Also from last night, #Brewers Manuel Rodriguez. Projectable RHP, only 20 y/o, but has potential swing and miss breaker and solid change.
Jesus Made is reportedly heading to Double-A. Here he is from last night in South Bend. The power is not there yet, but he's only 18 and has elite bat control in the profile. Future star for the Brewers.
Brewers’ prospect, Marco Dinges with an opposite field HR at South Bend, but appears to have injured leg, had to walk from 3B to home.
