This is a great idea; I’ll do the same.
I've long written at the intersection of baseball, history, and politics @baseballprospectus.com. The freedom I've had has been unlike any other publication I've written for. I'd like to repay that, so once again, show me a new subscription and I'll write your request for a column or player comment.
ICYMI: Our rates our going up as of 1/1, making now through 12/31 the absolute best time to lock in a year subscription. You can extend a subscription via the BP360 promotion that's currently available, but that's the only way.

hey everyone, today we're announcing something at BP that is both long overdue and something I wish we could keep holding off on, but the reality is we can't: a price change to our subscription.

We'll continue to provide one of the best value props out there, and keep earning your support.

Even with the price change, Baseball Prospectus is underpriced considering all you get. Coverage that's free from the influence of the league, a sportsbook, or some private equity ghoul is so important, and it's exactly what you get when you support sites like BP.

the good news is the price change doesn't kick in until 1/1, and we're currently running our yearly promotion for a yearly sub, a copy of the Annual, and a t-shirt, so there literally isn't a better time to subscribe or extend a subscription with us:

I threw 140 pitches in my final college baseball game. I hope with all my heart there is another Mariners game this week I’ll need to summon the words for.

If there’s not, well, I hope you can feel every pitch I wrote in this one. www.lookoutlanding.com/editorial/13...

Daniel Espino returns and he looked solid.

21 pitches-15 strikes

96-98. Was in the zone and in control. Showed off a cutter/slider, curve and some changeups. Very good stuff for a guy with 2 shoulder surgeries and not pitching since April of 2022

Successful return

Also from last night, #Brewers Manuel Rodriguez. Projectable RHP, only 20 y/o, but has potential swing and miss breaker and solid change.

Jesus Made is reportedly heading to Double-A. Here he is from last night in South Bend. The power is not there yet, but he's only 18 and has elite bat control in the profile. Future star for the Brewers.
