Gentle Canadian who used to take pleasure in poking my American neighbours because they elected trump. Now I am genuinely worried about us all.

Actually, that ad is running and he can claim he is stopping trade, except for this. Prime Minister Carney made a speech at a University today. Canada stopped being a trading partner with the US. They will no long seek a trade deal with us. No more minerals, lumber or steel. Nothing.

As a Canadian I'm actually ok with this, if it helps us scrap the F-35 order in all the uproar.

Clearly America's friends need to decouple from the lunatic embrace of the Excited States of #America as quickly as possible.

well i think naming a ballroom after your best friend is something to be celebrated tbh
Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

Did Poilievre go too far and if he did - Who will replace him?

With polls saying support for the CPC and LPC is neck n neck while support for Carney is much higher than for Poilievre, PP must be worried

Is replacing PP a good move or will it lead to Carney losing support and LPC losing votes?
Here we go. I’ve seen this movie twice before. Once with Erin O’Toole and once with Andrew Scheer. Now it’s just a matter of time.

#PierrePoilievre #ConservativeTakeDown
Pierre Poilievre's own MPs won't stand up for his reckless comments.
Ad:
Conservative leader needed. Requires security clearance, ability to speak nicely about Conservative values, preference for candidates with good education and actual experience in private industry leadership role.
Please send resume toot sweet.

"When you’re standing in front of a sign that says ‘stop the steal,’ and there’s a guy in the crowd waving a confederate flag, you know it’s not a neighborhood barbecue." Come on!

Merkley: "What we've seen is that democracies no longer die bc men w/guns go in and take it over. Instead, it's electeds who erode the separation of power. If you have a rubber-stamp Congress & courts that deliver more power to the executive, suddenly you have an authoritarian state. It's here now."
