NEWS: The criminal cases against James Comey and Letitia James are gone. A federal judge ruled that the appointment of Lindsey Halligan as the lead prosecutor was illegal.

DOJ could try again, but there are other headwinds.

Representative Nydia Velázquez is the blueprint. A truly badass Boricua.

As the first Puerto Rican woman ever elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, she opened doors for so many of us – myself included – and inspired a generation to believe in the power and possibilities of public service.

In 2023 the Progressive Caucus adopted a statement of principles including a commitment to reduce the size and scope of the NYPD + Corrections.

The caucus' numbers shrank, but its politics gained coherence and power. With @harveyepstein.bsky.social, we'll be a step closer to a progressive majority.
