Played IKAI on the Swotch for about an hour. Had the lights off, the sound up, and the gamma a bit too low. Found a ‘safe place’ to practice my kanji, except NO I DID NOT.
I noped out. I’m good. Somebody else can can play that game

What we are doing is disgusting and it needs to stop
This is heartbreaking and if you're human this should piss you the fuck off — regardless of where you stand in the spectrum of politics.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

The comments under every post about the woman murdered in Whitestown reaffirm my stance:
If THE meteor were headed our way, and I could stop it, I would not.

She was a human, who did nothing wrong, and she’s dead, and her four children have to grow up without a mother.

Gender is a spectrum from just wanting have fun to being back in town, and to varying degrees, each of us contains attributes of both, which is a beautiful thing

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

This is a photo of around 100 Field Notes (TM) notebooks. I once had twice that, but my archive box of used notebooks got vanished from work in 2019, so this is what remains.

Israel broke the ceasefire less than 24 hours after it began. There hasn’t been a ceasefire.

I listened to the first 4 minutes of MTGs resignation announcement. She kept swinging like a pendulum from stuff that made sense all the way to crazy right-wing nonsense. I wonder what she’s up to next

This is fucked
This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

Would traveling through South Carolina with an implanted IUD be illegal? What about transporting IUDs or even pamphlets about abortion through the State, destined for a place where they would be legal?
AK, VA, NE and PA have pro-choice car plates. Could you be arrested driving through SC with one?
Women who get an abortion and anyone who helps them could face up to 30 years in prison under the bill.

It appears to ban any contraception that prevents a fertilized egg from implanting. That would ban IUDs and could strictly limit in-vitro fertilization.
Women Who Have Abortions Would Face Decades in Prison Under South Carolina Plan
Women who get abortions could spend decades in prison and IUDs would be outlawed under proposed legislation in South Carolina.
