Apparently, “the real story” of Catherine Connolly’s election as president wasn’t her victory at all, but “the staggering incompetence of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, who managed to botch things”. Pretty dismissive of all who voted and campaigned for Connolly, as if they just don’t matter.
