if you’re not gonna get rid if assigning sex/gender at birth (which should be the end goal anyways) then there needs to be a mandatory period of one’s life where you are transgender. juuuuuust to make sure you arent going with that gender just because a doctor said so when you were a newborn

years and years ago (probably almost a decade ago at this point) tvtropes blocked you after a certain amount of pages unless you disabled adblock. i did this once, and within minutes, one of their ads forcibly redirected me without clicking to a scam “you’ve won a new iphone!!” page
TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea

If you are willing to throw away entire groups of people to protect your insular strategy that will only protect you instead of protecting everyone then I don’t want your leaders and I sure as hell don’t want to be associated with you.
I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.
