Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

The Venn diagram of those screaming about “unlimited guns to prevent Govt tyranny” & those screaming “THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR” as they watch Govt round up brown people & throw them in gulags is a perfect circle.

It was never about “opposing tyranny,” it was always about advancing white supremacy.

What the actual fuck???
They should be pounding on Trump’s culture of corruption instead of creating their own.
"House Democrats on Thursday voted to return Rep. Henry Cuellar to his leadership role on the House Appropriations Committee following his presidential pardon on federal corruption charges."

JICYMI - Shameful, repulsive move by House Democrats and their leaders. Disgraceful.

Really loved this article on close reading. The art of noticing, and of crafting an argument, is how we begin to inoculate ourselves from so many societal and intellectual ills, especially in a world where disinformation, toxic algorithms, and slop vie for our limited time and attention.

On The Gateway Pundit's podcast yesterday, Stewart Rhodes announced he's relaunching the Oath Keepers

He also urged Trump to “call us up as a militia" & "order us all to come together in our counties under his command."

Looks like the Dems will pick up 12 seats in the VA House of Delegates, which will go from 51-49 to 63-37 D-R. That's an honestly shocking result.
