Really interesting thread on the reality of being an MP with no research team of whips office...
Like imagine you're a normal person, i.e. yourself. (None of you here are normal, but imagine.) You probably have 3-4 political issues you have strong opinions on, 3-4 you have general inclinations on, and a ton you know nothing about. The whip's office /tells/ you what you should think on that ton.

The way tech companies constantly do stuff that nobody asked for really tells you a lot about their bigger ideology. They tell themselves that you will like it over time. What they mean is you’ll learn to endure it, or you’ll give up. quality of UI is not actually anywhere on their radar
new iOS update is sleek and also defaults in Music to “you must want songs transition as they would on a dance floor.” so many people will wonder why they can’t just listen to an album. Apps > Music > Song Transitions > toggle off.

Errr... Would this not include someone who has Nigerian citizenship through her parents, and who has admitted to hacking Harriet Harman's website, a crime which at the time carried a maximum sentence of five years?
