The math isn't mathing. If deportation opens up jobs for "true" citizens, shouldn't the net effect be zero job losses?

When I was working in R&D at J&J medtech some years ago we mulled this over and I promptly shot it down for this reason. There are no insights an AI can add during a procedure that isnt already available in the mind of physician with experience that is worth the patient risk.
When AI was added to a tool for sinus surgery: “Cerebrospinal fluid leaked from one patient’s nose. In another… a surgeon mistakenly punctured the base of a patient’s skull. In two other cases, patients suffered strokes after a major artery was accidentally injured”
