Can't really get over this one, this is just straight up antisemitism. You can hate Chuck Schumer all you want, think he's a dweeb, not fit for the moment, needs to be run out of town, etc. He put out a lackluster statement on ICE and your response was just to point at him and call him a Jew!

The history of the civil rights movement in the US is pretty tied up with Jewish Zionism and liberation, and to say that every black person should be antizionist on principle is ahistorical and belittling to those who fought for liberation for both peoples

No doubt, and seemingly tending the wrong way. So maybe a one year deal was always going to be in the cards. But I'm a big dummy and just can't get batting average and SO% out of my head as fun stats. He's a career 317 hitter and still hit 292 last year, it just feels like there's something there.

He had a ~3% strikeout rate last year. That's insane. But he never walks, doesn't hit home runs, and can't really play defense. Again, yea I get it, flawed player, but 30 of the smartest baseball minds in the world can't figure out where to put this guy to maximize value?

I just think Arraez is one of the most fascinating players in baseball right now. Yea yea, AVG tells an incomplete story of a hitter, but this guy has three batting titles within the last four years. And as Mike highlights, is apparently just being used wrong for his one godlike skill?

It is the structure though is it not? With a 10-470 contract, that's 47mil going out to Ohtani each year. With the current one it's only 2mil going out but it counts as 47 against the luxury tax because of weird accounting. Or am I misunderstanding?
