Although Newsom's fearlessness & epic Trump-trolling are great, he still comes across as elitist & smarmy to the average voter. I think the best "winnable" ticket for '28 as of right now (if we have a fair & free election) is Pritzker/ Buttigeg. I do not think Newsom would win.
