Woah. You’ve never worried about the future of our country under a Tory government? Really?

A lot of this comes down to UK politicians wanting to negate the consequences of Brexit without negating Brexit itself. But no, you can't have your cake and eat it too - and I don't think a very overt dependency on EU policy with no say is sustainable for the UK.

Very visible connection there between Wes Streeting wanting to decrease diagnoses of mental illness, and Keir Starmer stating that Polanski's Greens are 'nuts.'

Casual but very intentional ableism all the way from this government.

Gradually shifting language on post-Brexit. Closer partnership is the aim, but EU leadera are "not saying join the customs union" which is a side-step answer. Prefers not to repeat UK will never rejoin for decades, as focus is on closer post-Brexit links.

Why is @Nigel_Farage shaking his hand? 🇷🇺

❗ This is Russian ambassador Alexander Yakovenko. Farage lied about meeting him.

Yakovenko was part of Putin’s plan to disrupt the West #Brexit before Russia invaded Ukraine.

my great-grandparents arrived in the UK in the 1890s with nothing.
they sold pickles from the front room window, took in laundry, worked as tailors.
their children were nurses, teachers, salesmen.
their grandchildren were professors, designers, opticians, doctors, magistrates, entrepreneurs.
This is so disgusting.

Interesting what Crick notes.

Farage like Mogg and Johnson are really just grown up versions of their teenage selves. Lots of public school boys leave fully formed - and armed with an entitlement and a sense of empowerment that takes them through the rest of their lives.
On why Farage doesn’t apologise for his schoolboy racism:
“if he apologised, he would be turning to his own support base and saying, ‘You’re all guilty too.’ ”
Exactly.
He is racist. So are his voters. He can’t be pissing them off by saying sorry.

This must be the most outrageous example of Farage's racist bullying. A 17-year-old Farage bullying a 9-year-old lad – NINE – for being black, and even waiting at the school gate to heap more abuse on the little lad.

What an absolute f***ing scumbag.

Deeply shocking, even by 1970s standards.
