EXCLUSIVE: So far it's been unclear what proof Rockstar Games has to justify its firing of 34 union members, who it claims were leaking "confidential information in a public forum".

PMG has now seen some of the messages which contributed to this decision being made.

I miss the era of gaming where games like Gears of War would have like a 15 compani9n books to fill out the lore. We need more video game franchise novels.

I'll give it to Ubisoft. It's very funny to pull their earnings dramatically, work everyone up into thinking the company was folding/selling, have grifters praying for their downfall, go silent for a week, and reemerge with decent results and say it was all an accounting error.

What happens in the video game world often happens in the wider world later - which is why anyone interested in the impact of AI should be looking at what's happening in games right now. We're seeing lines being drawn about what is and isn't culturally acceptable

Encouraging the policing of public spaces based on appearance and gender stereotypes is no way for a human rights regulator to behave.

The EHRC’s proposed Code of Practice is a misogynist’s charter, and the government must reject it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the latest in the annual series, appears to be tracking significantly behind last year’s Black Ops 6 across metrics like player counts and Twitch viewership.

COD met a far more competitive shooter market in 2025 with the return of Battlefield and the debut of Arc Raiders.

Put my votes in for South of Midnight in both Soundtrack and Audio which it is stellar for. Shame to not see it more widely represented.
South of Midnight is only in "Games for Impact" whatever that means at this point. Truly one of the best OSTs this year, and if you don't plan on playing, I recommend you check it out anyway.

Me looking at Marvel Rivals, a game that had a huge drop off in later seasons and huge meta issues, and Helldivers 2, a game the developers described as "breaking at the seams" that is currently pushing back content to fix the game, getting nominated for best ongoing game over Overwatch 2.

As a guy who is generally 'alright' at most competitive shooters, I pick up at least after a couple of games, I am uniquely horrible at Battlefield 6 in embarrassing and wild new ways.

This only makes me want to find some foothold in it even more.

A new report from @chrisbratt.bsky.social suggests the firing of over 30 workers from Rockstar Games was related to UK statutory recognition laws.

Almost 10% of Rockstar’s UK workforce was close to being recruited to a new union, which is one of the thresholds for enforced employer recognition.
Rockstar Games Accused of Firing Union Employees to Avoid Statutory Recognition
Former Rockstar employees told People Make Games the union was “very close” to statutory recognition, which would have forced recognition.

I fucking love DnD, man. Had a duel with a dragon guy, lost, then had some of my favourite inter-character RP interactions tonight.

I love playing this disgruntled Fire Genasi who's mad as hell all the time.

Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick:

"It's always painful when we move a date. We have done so occasionally in the past, and we've never regretted it."

"...we have certain competitors that in the event where more polish was required... they chose not to slip the date, and they did so at their peril."
Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed, for the second time, to 19 November 2026.

Take Two's CEO remarked that the delay would help provide time for "a "high level of polish," and "we feel quite good about this date.”

The delay comes amid the contentious firing of dozens of workers at Rockstar Games.

GTA6 has been pushed once more to 19 November 2026, in order to allow "additional time to finish the game" with a "high level of polish."
