Starmer and Carney have some traits in common. They’re both smart, tough, and they learn fast. Carney is the more natural politician though.

Farage heads to a meeting of Global Elites to complain about Global Elites without the self awareness to understand that by his apparent "friendship" with Trump, that he is the very model of Global Elites.

let's do a word count on the number of times he mentions "left".

this para 100% applies to the UK's relationship with the EU. it explains why a change in UK government hasn't repaired the UK/EU relationship. it also reflects why the EU will be highly reluctant to offer the UK anything bespoke because one day soon another anti-EU party will come to power in the UK

If it starts to fall now it would indicate the number of us useless older folk dying exceeds the number of babies and inward migrants. That need not be a bad thing

fascinating discussion on why the world population has been incredibly tricky to predict, and why it has mostly been wrong.

over the next decades, places like Oz and the UK are going to start seeing population reductions. far from being "anti-migrant" there will be competition for skilled migrants!
