the biggest difference i see is that politicians & other public figures are now open about it whereas before, they would walk it back & pretend they didn't mean it. now, they proudly claim out loud the stuff they would previously only say to people they felt were lower than them on the hierarchy.

agreed, and that's why i have several books with it. sometimes it's overheard or assumed by the other main character & amps up tension, sometimes it's before they ever get together, and other books, it's simply because that character wanted to make a better choice than a crummy ex.

i assume there's video (that russia, israel, & the epstein files have) of him doing something unspeakably horrific. the things we KNOW he's done are awful (yet able to be shrugged off by so many). how truly terrible and depraved must it be? otherwise, he'd release the files & say it was fine then.

really? is that the trick? because i read individually lines from poetry and am so moved, but when i try to read poems in their entirety, i get so hung up on if i'm reading them wrong that i can't appreciate the overall work and generally don't read poetry as a result.

It's more important to read contemporary books that teach you to empathize with real people (you encounter/affect through your actions) than to read the Classics (because we decided that was necessary to be a well-rounded person). And I say this as someone who has a degree in English lit.

I found KDP the easiest to set up, personally, but I've heard that the quality for Draft2Digital is better. It depends on what country you're in, though. When I had some e-books wide, B&N was really difficult; Ingram was better for my own experience. I'm also romance.

EXACTLY! i *want* to live in a world where everybody's healthy, safe, fed, housed, educated, and able to provide for themselves and their family. why have we sacrificed all of that so already-rich people can have a 12th yacht?
