How about having a conversation about the objectives of ICE? It's become clear that they are interested in deporting more than 10 million people - many of whom have been integral members of communities for a long time. That's not what they ran on, but it's what they are doing.
If police being doxed is an issue if people can see their faces, why don’t the many thousands of state/local police officers wear masks? Why do they typically wear their names and badge numbers in a visible location? ICE/BP just wants to hide from misconduct accountability. bsky.app/profile/atru...

How about this in any ICE budget: if someone claiming to be ICE has a face covering, or does not show a federally issued id badge, they can be assumed to be imposters, or acting illegally, and qualified immunity does not apply, but stand your ground laws do.

We need more than "I will vote no". How about "I will do everything in my power to keep any Senate Democrat from giving a single dime to this completely lawless agency until the leadership is removed. And any that do support it will lose all committee assignments and any funding support by the DSCC"
Democrats sought common sense reforms in the Department of Homeland Security spending bill, but because of Republicans’ refusal to stand up to President Trump, the DHS bill is woefully inadequate to rein in the abuses of ICE. I will vote no.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Has anyone disclosed what the mission was for that ICE detail? I assume they finally had a warrant for an identified dangerous felon to apprehend.
But I expect their mission was to go harass day cares and elementary schools, and see if they find any brown people to kidnap.
