So sad to know this at all.
Dallas doesn't have a, how shall we say it, good relationship with the federal government. There have been some definite low- points over the years. Sometimes, we can still pull off a decent protest.

It also brought women to arcades for the first time. Mostly because women were paid in nickels back then.
Albert Finney's hair did half the job.
Interested in your thoughts on this one. My first podcast episode was "Summer of Werewolves" about the 1981 releases of "The Howling," "Wolfen," and "An American Werewolf in London."
The State Fair of Texas always has a fair amount of creepy dolls on display. But, damn, this is messed up.
Someone clearly hasn't seen "EEGAH!"

President Johnson, in a November 9, 1968 letter to the Smothers Brothers:

“It is part of the price of leadership of this great and free nation to be the target of clever satirists . . . May we never grow so somber or self-important that we fail to appreciate the humor in our lives.”
Which has one of the most unintentionally (i think) funny moments in the series.

The National Weather Service has advised that all Dallas residents should just "stay inside from now on." I, for one, saw this coming.
Once again reminding myself that 6 hours in the studio is just fine, and anything more is probably garbage time.

As end-of-empire scenarios go it is so much more dignified to get your capital city sacked by the Visigoths than to have a bunch of illiterate rich people in their 70s doing it through a series of incomprehensible tantrums because their brains were defeated by their phones.

So we're supposed to believe that Maxwell and Epstein ran a sex trafficking operation, but kept no records of anyone but the victims? That's laughable on its face.

Stumbled across "The House on Laura Anne Dr." on Tubi. It starts with a guy who - without consulting his wife - moves them to Florida (on purpose!) and buys a house with no kitchen island or a walk-in closet for her.

Definitely a horror film. This guy is toast.
