I LOVE end of the year lists. So many new things I didn't hear about I can check out - that's a Christmas gift for me.
Year-end critics’ lists exist for people to fight over, so I’m happy when people complain about them. But the complaint I will never get is, “I’ve never heard of most of these movies/albums/shows.” Yes, and? Why be mad about learning about stuff you didn’t know before from the news?

thank you Nicholas Quah for spelling out exactly what makes these interviews so inane. also, on SFV you're only ever catching 90 seconds of an exchange, TOPS -- so you end up with what are effectively disembodied soundbites, cut off from context. it stinks!

the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

Having finished Dark Souls Remastered I can somewhat confidently say there wont a better moment involving a simple lift ride down in gaming. It doesn't hurt that the game also has my favorite fight in gaming (Artorias my beloved).
