The 7th episode of my mini-series set in the world of the fantastic Victoria's Lift podcast has gone live.
I hope you like it. I had so much writing this story.
It was a privilege to be allowed to play in Victoria's world.

Every year I make handmade crackers, and the kid moans about the “dad jokes”, so this year I have decided to talk more directly to Gen Z.

(Also: clipper lighters and scratch cards in every one. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!)

With the wrapping done for another year, I thought I'd give myself a treat. A decent cup of tea & the #BrokenVeil ghost story for Christmas.
I'm glad I did the wrapping 1st. I'm bad enough at it without attempting it with my hands shaking.
TOND is going to be shivering down my spine until new year.

Lissa's Literary Advent calendar is a highlight of Christmas for me in much the same way as Fanny Cradock's Festive Cookery *wasn't*.
(My mother made a lot of Fanny's Yuletide recipes and they were uniformly horrible)
Well, I seem to be back on Blue Sky, so straight into a catch up of my #LIteraryAdventCalendar2025.
Day 1, and it's one of my all-time favourites: journalist Lynn Barber attempts to interview Margaret, Duchess of Argyll, (ultra posh, with a scandalous past) about her book on dinner parties.
