You can flood streets with cops and still have suffering everywhere.
Or you can fund housing, mental health care, and addiction treatment,
and actually make people safe.
One is control.
The other is solutions!

Alberta separatists might look haphazard and kooky, but they have a path to turn a 20% issue into a real threat.

1 - Normalize separatism so it no longer feels toxic.
2 - Tie it to every grievance.
3 - Find a political dance partner. The U.S.A.

They are now pushing all 3 at once.

Scott Moe has been paying Harper and Associates $240, 000 / year of Saskatchewan taxpayer dollars since 2019. For consulting on international trade.

Quite the expensive compliment.

I'm worried about Carney's cuts to the federal civil service. According to @psac-afpc.bsky.social, out of almost 12,000 cuts so far, 895 are in Health Canada and another 178 in the Public Health Agency of Canada. psacunion.ca/wfa-tracker

I've reached out to all Canadian companies listed here to ask if they intend to continue working with ICE:

Hootsuite
Roshel
Garda
Jim Pattison Developments

I've also reached out to @anitaoakvilleeast.bsky.social's team for comment on export permits for Canadian sale of armoured vehicles to ICE.
Drop the names of any Canadian companies you’ve seen working with ICE in the comments.

I’m aware of Gardaworld, Roshel, Hootsuite.

Would love to gather any and all other names.

Canadian-built Roshel armored vehicles are being used by ICE right now in Minneapolis, including in today's operation where ICE murdered someone else.

I wrote about this company in December. And we know this thanks to the work of World Beyond War Canada.

For those who don't know, remigration is a European far-right concept of ethnic cleansing via the mass deportation of non-white minority populations.

I took this photo today in SASKATOON within hours of the ICE remigration Gestapo executing another person in the US.

Old habits must die hard at CBC.

“A man is dead following a shooting involving federal officers in Minneapolis”? Huh?! Why the vagueness??

Even Tim Walz called it a “shooting by a federal agent”.

ICE officers shot a citizen. Just say what happened.

Tbh this just saved Carney from himself, if he was still planning to accept (as he said he would) after giving that speech.

It would have looked like he immediately did something unpopular to appease Trump after giving a speech that suggested he plans to have more backbone than that.

Honestly thank fuck Trump withdrew the invitation from Carney to the board of peace.

The gaslighting, especially after his speech, would have been unbearable.
