A cabbage, or Something. I should have learned kung fu, instead of ethics. Bees are good, bees are good, I believe that bees are good.. 2+2=-3 in Z/7Z. e/em
It genuinely seems like "there are too many regulations" was a thing right wingers used to complain about, and "a large number of poorly written regulations" is the worst of both worlds.
i feel like i’m going insane what the fuck

In the ad for the official NFC Champion t-shirt and hat, they had someone yelling excitedly "we're packing our bags (to go to the superbowl)" as though NFL players do not regularly travel for away games.

I don't think football owners should ever be in the pro football hall of fame unless they were also players or coaches.

It is funny when the NFL commentariat is like "Does Jarrett Stidham even know what a football is?" when he won like 18 games in the SEC.

Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.

"Please get the truth out about our son."

I'm genuinely curious if any of the three existing Shakers got to see THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE and whether they liked it.

I mean, if AI is actually genuinely useful to various industries, stop trying to get me to use it in order to write an e-mail- just use it in those industries.

So how exactly is Copilot supposed to know which linebackers have good leadership skills?

Bone Temple is, I think, the 2nd best "28... Later" movie after the very first one. Make a point of seeing it.
Judging by box office, Sony should have waited until March or April to release 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE. Maybe they were trying to break the January dump stigma, which is admirable. They knew they had a great one, and perhaps they didn’t want to wait.

Wish for the third one. It deserves one.

If you read it in binary notation the CFB national championship game is between number one and number two.

If I got 10,000 likes on a single post, I would delete my account since I simply do not want that much attention.
A tale of three apps. Identical post sent at the same time:

Twitter: 136,000 likes, 20,000 shares

Threads: 46,000 likes, 4,000 ahares

Bluesky: 149 likes, 45 shares

To be clear, I have 60k followers on Twitter, 15k on Bluesky, but only 7k on Threads.

I love Bluesky, but this isn't sustainable.

I've heard a lot of commentary about "Minnesota Nice" recently, so I feel the need to point out what it actually constitutes is a social adaptation to be able to share a relatively enclosed space with someone you don't particularly like without having to go outside or violence breaking out.

I did it on Wednesday to see the new Jim Jarmusch movie.
Hands up if you've deliberately travelled to another town or city just to see a movie.

Yep. Quite a few times. Including thanks to Netflix's own limited release model sometimes.
"You’re not going to get in the car and go to the next town to see a movie," says Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos

As a white person, I genuinely do not think I am expected to like "carry around my birth certificate when I go to the store" so it's telling that anybody thinks this is a reasonable ask for anybody.

This is especially funny in light of the featurette they played after the theatrical presentation of Good Boy where they explain how Indy did no acting, they just leveraged normal dog reactions with the Kuleshov effect through the edit.
‘Good Boy’ star Indy the Dog has won ‘Best Performance in a Horror or Thriller’ at the Astra Film Awards.

I mean it's not original but the river I am closest to at home is the Mississippi.
My favorite Twitter prompt was "RT this with your home river," so reskeet this with your home river.

Mine is the Patuxent.

I think what this points to is that Conference Championship *games* are sort of irrelevant in terms of "determining who won the championship" or "who the best team is". The way the Ivy League does it where it's just conference record and you can have five-way ties would work for the Big Ten and SEC.
it’s gonna be genuinely interesting to see how CFB fans feel if we get two straight years of a national champion that didn’t even play in its conference championship
