My first real job was doing data entry for a bank, and around the 1st of the month it would get super busy and everyone who knew how to do data entry would be pulled off whatever they were doing to do data entry.

All I know is that I had a bunch of perfectly functional VBA running a dashboard using resources on the network drive, then we moved everything to Sharepoint and it became exponentially harder to keep operational.

I think it'll start with non-VC investors -- pension companies, Wall Street, etc. -- pulling back their money, whether because they're getting worried or a new shiny thing comes along or whatever. Once the first cracks are in, they'll multiply fast until the whole thing comes down.
