I’m doing rewatches of movies from ‘90s to ‘00s and I really miss some of the film design.
Voices are audible.
Scenes feel fluid. Location anchor shots.
Night scenes are VISIBLE.
Practical effects are so nice to see.
Plots interesting but linear (can’t feel the last minute edits)

spent the afternoon listening to mbira music from Zimbabwe because i am so in love with TL Huchu’s Edinburgh Nights series which blends Scottish and Zimbabwean magic and myth.
the last book had me sitting silently staring out windows for days and omg the new book that snot release yet is so good.

We make this enchilada chicken, mostly for tacos, but it’s good for salads. Take 4 chicken breasts and season with your favorite chicken or poultry seasoning. We use Chef Merito Pollo seasoning. Add 1 jar of Heredez verde salsa and 1 block of low fat cream cheese. Cook on low for 6 hours.

I cannot stress enough how if you introduce a dog in your movie or tv show and I don’t see them get a treat I will cease to care about your nuance characters or intricate plot or super thematic story all of that is IRRELEVANT AND USELESS TO ME until I see the dog get treatos GIVE THEM TREATOS
