Just finished reading ( listening through audiobook) 3 weeks 8 seconds - I maybe knew the headline facts but what a brilliant book. Highly recommended for any cycling or sports fan.
Le Mond had and I assume still has two lead pellets in his heart lining!!!

...obviously boosted by 4 French stage winners but structural factors too as held right after men's race, no competition from Olympics, football etc. For comparison women avg. is 2.7m, men 3.8m and the men's peak was 8.8m. Both very good numbers, satisfied tone from host broadcaster each time.

I love how Pidcock and Ferrand-Prévot still support each other and cheer each other on. They've both been lone wolves at Ineos, spending loads of time together working on their mountainbike goals. And every time without fail, when one has a big moment, the other will be cheering for them.

I was skeptical too, but I am fully on board. However: Just always neutralize the GC, even if it doesn’t rain. That made for so many nice moments and no tragedies.
Having a real race through Paris is way way better than the parade we got in the past. They should do this every year! #tdf25

Where to start with that cracking finale to the first stage…? Vos wins, PFP almost wins, Kasia close, Demi and AVDB not far back too, Kopecky nowhere and Reusser abandons. I’ve shaken off my TDF fatigue. I’m well up for another 8 days of this #TDFF
