I have several people in my life that do this and it’s fucking infuriating.

Person 1: "Do you want to do A or B?"
Person 2: "Hows about A?"
Person 1: "I think we should do B"

JUST FUCKING SAY B THEN TO START WITH THEN.

Stop giving the illusion of choice, it just ends up feeling like some weird trap or a test.

This seems irrefutable at this point.

The "trying to stop the Epstein Files" idea may be an ancillary benefit to the GOP but the real reason everything is shut down and they allow Trump to unconstitutionally seize legislative power is that they hate the Constitution, democracy, and checks on power.
