My mom is hard core MAGA and stopped talking to me almost two years ago. My small act of resistance is to donate to causes negatively impacted by her Trump support and do it in her honor. She gets an email with every LGBTQIA+, community food bank, and World Central Kitchen donation I make.

I grew up in Portland. I have friends in Portland. I visit regularly, most recently over the summer. Trump is truly and dangerously demented.
