depressing that a game like Starlight Re:Volver, which had a prominent place at massive industry shows and a big marketing push behind it plus Steam Next Fest demo performance that most devs could only dream of, can release and bomb so hard it needs to be functionally abandoned in early access

Just realized this went up yesterday. It's no secret I don't love Dispatch but what I really think doesn't work is the game's failure at making player choice as well as it's management segments compelling to the narrative.

Finished Episode 5 of Dispatch last night.
I'm really enjoying the story of the game. The actual gameplay of dispatching, I still can't seem to gel with. I'm failing half of the dispatches. I'm trying to upgrade everyone to help, but I'm mostly just barely on either side of pass or fail.
