The way the word elites has become devoid of all meaning is interesting. It’s a placeholder for “someone I don’t like” and it fascinates me that the people who use it most are wealthy, went to “elite” schools and hold positions of power. Look in the damn mirror. You’re talking about yourself.

i think one thing to remember about the republicans trump picked to lead his government is that most of them are below replacement level as politicians

I believe in accountability and holding people accountable for the consequences of their actions when we expect better of them. So yes, holding accountable Chuck Schumer & the other Senate Democrats who voted for the massive ICE funding increase is not "laughable," it's responsible.
