ok, so idk how trustworthy these numbers are but if you take the $711k take-home and subtract the $493k in overtime that gives a base salary of $218k, which makes his hourly rate roughly $105/hr and time and a half $157/hr, meaning he worked 3,141 hours of overtime (60hr of ot/week)

Banished to a deeply blue state lmao, money on if the AG just arrests him.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

This is how you say it, not abolish trumps ICE or what ever, just ICE.
Federal agents are executing Americans in the streets. None of us are safe in a police state.

Abolish ICE.

The Trump admin does not respect Americans or American values.

The US was founded by regular men with no kings and no state religion. The founders expected future generations to reflect on past failings to build a better future.

Sanitizing history, patriotism without values, is deeply un-American.
Signs about the history of slavery in the U.S. and the 9 people George Washington enslaved are being removed right now at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, across from Independence Hall, months after the Trump administration threatend to do so.

How far we have not come in 250 years.

The next Mayor of Philadelphia should retaliate by taking back control of Independence Hall (which the City still owns!) and recreating the entire slavery exhibit inside. Next because this current one isn't doing shit

Does anyone watching the violent culture of ICE agents in MLPS, or reading their fascist recruitment ads, think the issue is lack of training?

So why are Dems ready to keep funding this monster, with a few "reforms"? Can an opposition meet the moment?

Notice how Mamdani, who famously ran on an affordability platform, did not have to involve grocery prices in making the moral case why ICE should be abolished
Mamdani: I am in support of abolishing ICE… I'm tired of waking up every day and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car, dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life.

This pretty interesting, a 3rd of all cops now live outside the city under mayor parker, and half of all higher ups in the PD live outside the city now too. Also funny to see the cops in the city all live in the most car loving areas is funny and there is something to be said about that.

In the Philadelphia area, the number of homes for sale last year was about 40% lower than the average pre-pandemic. And demand is outpacing supply. That has made local housing markets more competitive.

Zillow forecasts that the Philadelphia metropolitan area will continue to be a competitive housing market, with homes selling quickly and sellers having the upper hand.
