'Unspeakably Cruel': Trump Freezes Green Cards to 235,000 Refugees Admitted Under Biden | Common Dreams

Charlie Kirk got killed and the media was fully prepared to accept that this was adequate cassus belli for civil war, lest they point out this is clearly absurd and they be accused of not caring enough about Charlie Kirk

One guy killed one National Guard member and the media is treating it like it’s 9/11 because they’re scared the President will accuse them of underreacting if they try to apply even the slightest bit of proportionality

Look at these men. They are ashamed of themselves as they should be. They are standing here while the president calls their professional colleague a “stupid person.”

I don’t care if you think you’ll lose access. You need to speak up. Decent Americans are tired of this and disgusted with all of you.

I don’t think you’ll get a more “on the nose” example of blowback than a guy from Afghanistan who America trained to go around executing civilians in something called a “zero squad” who later moves to America and attacks the American government. Like holy shit what the fuck are we doing here?

I have to ask this question. If this guy was so upset that he wanted to shoot some National Guardsmen why did he drive all the way from Washington state to D.C. to do it? There are lots of National Guardsmen closer to where he was. Question everything!

This presidency is a reality TV show. It is all about TV ratings, it's all about shock and awe tactics, and is (at its core) a show about terrible people doing terrible things and somehow not being held accountable for them. It's bullshit TV, and it'd be hilarious if it wasn't hurting millions

🚨DJT wins at one thing: He is the most crass and embarrassing person to ever represent at least half of the country - whether they would admit it or not. Too, nobody who is innocent of having misled the country intentionally acts like this.

The United States has 880 million acres of farmland, almost 40 percent of the total US acreage.

Not only that, advances have made farming more productive: from 1930 to 2000, hay yield per acre doubled, milk yield per cow tripled, and corn yield per acre quadrupled.

And yet we let people go hungry.

‘Medicare for All’ still big. “In a survey of 1,207 likely voters [from] Nov. 14–17, 2025, ...65% of voters [supported] a Medicare for All system, described as a ‘national health insurance program... that would cover [everyone] & replace... private health insurance...’" jacobin.com/2025/11/medi...
Medicare for All Disappeared. Its Popularity Didn’t.
The demand for Medicare for All went from the center of the discourse to political exile in record time. But the policy's popularity never faded. A new poll finds strong majority support for the neglected idea among Americans across the political spectrum.
