Saw Udo Kier on stage in Berlin in 2019 at the premiere of ‘Iron Sky 2’ (a film I am happy to defend). He played Hitler riding a T-Rex called Blondie, and was having a whale of a time at the premiere being a) very drunk and b) pleased as punch about the line ‘Sieg Heil, Mutter Ficker!’ Total legend.

It probably goes without saying, but if a title gets released under Eli Roth's "The Horror Section" label, I'm not going to do a write-up on it.

No new reasons that have called for me to post this, I just think it bears mentioning.

I can't stop thinking about it. What an achievement.

I had no clue when @weard.moe reached out to me back in 2023 about contributing some self-taped footage to her new project that it was going to become something quite like this. One of the best things I've seen in quite some time.
Might be a little late to the party (well, only kind of, lol) but CASTRATION MOVIE ANTHOLOGY I is superb.

Just one more week until THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL - my trans folk tale and very personal tribute to the Lawrence Gordon Clark "Ghost Stories for Christmas" - releases on YouTube.

Meet me on the road at dawn.

(10AM, specifically, on Monday December 1st)

R.I.P. Udo Kier. Genuinely heartbreaking news.

We’re crushed to hear the news that the great Udo Kier has passed at the age of 81. As iconic as he was prolific, Kier’s contributions to the genre span nearly 300 screen credits, from BLOOD FOR DRACULA to BACURAU and beyond. Our condolences go out to his friends, family and legions of fans.

Today I'm going to begin shooting a film which asks an important question - what if Frankenstein's monster had CRAZY dandruff?

Just watched the new Julia Ducornau film, ALPHA.

All the Letterboxd reviews are complaing about it being an "obvious AIDS allegory".

Yeah, no duh. That's the point. That is, in fact, a very conscious creative decision. Why is this a problem to people?

- gonzo pervert maximalism
- we went to a place and the place was evil
- we dug a thing up and the thing was evil
- labyrinthine nightmare deep dive into a multi-layered horror that gradually shows each of its grim faces
- horror anthology where English character actors are catty at each other
What are your top 5 movie genres? Mine are:

- Roaring rampage of revenge
- Reluctantly, I must resume my life of violence
- On reflection, the risk assessment on our giant monster facility and/or attraction could have been more thorough
- Girl survives
- Crime but make it quirky

I haven't seen KEEPER yet but people are saying it's folk horror, so you guys had best not be lying to me.

I'll be there! All I've gotta do is fit in the first one among Soho Horror Fest stuff and assignments and filming.

Because I still haven't seen the first part of this film that I'm in the third part of and people on my uni course know about. Lol.
Hoping I'll be able to make the Manchester screening of CASTRATION MOVIE ANTHOLOGY II @weard.moe @matchboxcine.bsky.social @cpxmcr.bsky.social - fingers crossed I don't miss when tickets go up.

Also, it's the day before my birthday, lol.

Will state, as I have before, that this one is really underrated. Same with NUMBER 13.
Next Sunday. Screening an ultra rare BBC Christmas ghost story and celebrating the 20th anniversary of the superb A View from a Hill, plus a chat with its writer, Peter Harness.

Details and tickets:
A Birmingham Ghost Story + Peter Harness Q&A | Midlands Arts Centre
The BBC became well known in the 70s for producing popular anthology series Ghost Stories For Christmas, but Birmingham’s Pebble Mill had its own anthology

Have spent a large portion of the past few weeks being told by people "guys, don't you know Frankenstein's monster is meant to be sympathetic in the book? Not like the lumbering movie monster" and it makes me want to scream.

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.
