The Long Night (8x03) was unwatchable the night it aired. Terrible codecs, low resolution, and low bitrate.

I’ve had 3 watch parties to see it in 4k off the disc, but now that it’s streaming in 4k at a higher bitrate with better codecs it looks plenty good streaming as well

Worth a rewatch!
Idk what HBO did between then and now but the battle of winter fell watches so much better now.

One of my favorite episodes of television in a long time I am READY for this trial
We're invoking trial by podcast as we watch the fourth episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Seven. @ivanhernandez.bsky.social and @redscott.com talk cousinly betrayals, fancy lads, knight-making, and kings of burgers. #dunkandegg boarsgoreandswords.com/2026/02/09/a...

A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms is the best I’ve seen from the ASOIAF world since the Game of Thrones episode “A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms”

We're aware that this week's A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode released early due to the Super Bowl, but the lack of forewarning on HBO's part means that we're recording Monday as usual.

The highlight of the “athletes pronouncing their names for the Olympics website” is American alpine skier Mary Bocock, who clearly agrees it’s a pretty funny name

The USA Olympic Team Is clothed in Polo Ralph Lauren, and the entire outfit is made available for sale.

So, it's dressing one Olympian Michael, how much could it cost, $10?

let's check

they're doing a Cape Fear TV series, I can't wait for everyone to ask why they remade a Simpsons episode with Sideshow Bob

Peacock Olympic coverage is the best
the Swiss mixed doubles curling team is married and when their game ended the Peacock stream just showed them playing with their Curling Baby for like 5 minutes with the Olympics music playing

Gold Zone doesn't start for a few days more, but I'm watching quad box olympic curling and I couldn't be happier. we are so back

Welcome back the @westhunder.bsky.social Dunk & Egg theme!!!
Egg gets his big reveal as our watch of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms continues with episode three, The Squire. @ivanhernandez.bsky.social and @redscott.com talk horse scams, firey helms, lady fingers, and practical dragons. #dunkandegg boarsgoreandswords.com/2026/02/02/a...
February 3, 2026 at 12:26 AM
it is now established HBO ASOIAF canon that some horses can understand complicated human speech and communicate, knowledge which appears to have been largely lost by Game of Thrones times, making them the largest network of potential spies in the realm

This show is fun. Fun show.
Our Knight of the Seven Kingdoms watch takes a big bite with episode two, Hard Salt Beef. @ivanhernandez.bsky.social and @redscott.com talk hanging shaft, war tugs, alliterative knights, chicken horse, and an abundance of silver foxes. #dunkandegg boarsgoreandswords.com/2026/01/26/a...

before podcasts on the 400 mile drive between LA and SJ I’d put on conservative AM radio if I started feeling sleepy and I gotta say rage keeps you ALERT

I did not, however, learn anything useful
