Even if you take race and gender out of it, all of the viral moments she’s had which have made her popular on the left make her unpopular state-wide in Texas. Dems best chance in decades to win TX will be if Paxton is facing someone who the right hasn’t already been able to brand as a radical.

I like JC and would love to see her in the Senate. If she were running in a blue state, that would be awesome. Her being an attorney isn’t going to help her win Texas. The sad reality is that, like Harris, a large percentage of voters won’t vote for a black woman.

Miller is the mastermind of everything terrible the administration is doing. He wants to ethnically cleanse the United States of all non-white immigrants and knows democracy must be abolished so the maga cult can carry out a years long reign of terror without fear of electoral backlash.

Crocket has close to zero chance of winning if she is the nominee. Electability should be the overriding factor in any tough race. Our country’s fate is on the line and we shouldn’t be asking who is the best Democrat, but who can win a swing state Dems haven’t won in decades.

The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.

They are doing it right now. Trump bragged about it today. Are you a bot or a Russian troll? No one says "opposition party." Democrats have no power without either house of Congress or the DOJ to prosecute anyone for the vast array of crimes being committed by Trump and the rest of his admin.

The documents relating to Trump were not all under seal. Even if they were, the DOJ could have moved for them to be unsealed. Failing that, they could have been leaked. The fate of our democracy was on the line and Garland utterly failed to bring Trump to justice or inform the public of his crimes.

Rep. Massie will go down in American history as one of the heroes of this dark time. Our country would never have reached the brink of an authoritarian dictatorship if even a dozen other Republicans had the courage of Rep. Massie to stand up to Trump.

Merrick Garland will go down as one of the most feckless figures in American history. He waited 2 years to prosecute Trump and he sat on thousands of documents implicating Trump in child sex trafficking. Every record with Trump’s name on it should have been released prior to the 24 election.

The Biden DOJ should have released every document that had Trump’s name on it. Stopping fascism from rising in our country should have been their overwhelming priority. They had Maxwell dead to rights and should have offered her a 20 years if she would give a public accounting of Trump’s involvement
