In the ongoing saga of my research topic becoming current events...I have been wondering what will happpen with the property of immigrants being disappeared in America.
My husband and I left for vacation and were away for 3 weeks. When we returned, our neighbors, immigrants, with several children born in the USA, had disappeared. The house had a sold sign in the yard, but all of their belongings were still there. I have no idea what happened or where they went. 💔

I think this is an unfair mischaracterization of the use intended, and lumping it in with the sort of mine warfare that afflicts global civilians is counter-productive to the humanitarian purpose of the law.
