We’d like to end today with a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:

We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up, seeing it as not as dreadful as it appears, discovering that we have the strength to stare it down.

Just keep going. Goodnight, heroes.

Ultra-potent cannabis products are now common on the legal market. Users often miss the shift from relief to dependence, as brain fog develops gradually.

🌱 1/2 See below, and check with Master Gardeners (in Oregon, must be similar in WA?) or Oregon State extension, for advice on checking drainage (seeing how fast/slow water drains from a hole), and get a soil testing kit (for pH, other nutrients in soil). And ask neighbors “what grows well here?”
Spend a year observing light, shade, whether plants are useful, attractive, etc., for you or for birds (who may rely on berries, nesting sites etc), before pruning way back, taking out trees or plants, or adding big new plants. Native flower seed mixes can show which plants will/won’t thrive.

This is what is probably going to happen in the U.S with other vaccine-preventable diseases. As with Gloucester, we have states that have decided, as part of their political ideology, to reject vaccines.

This belief is so entrenched that I now believe only a massive outbreak will reverse it.
