- deliver groceries
- help pay the rent
- let people know of danger

This is absolutely heartbreaking. I followed and supported her work when we were still on Twitter and I'd lost track of her for a bit in the past year with all the upheaval in my personal life. This is shocking and upsetting. She was such a huge hearted person

I've been saying that. It took them killing one single white male that fit a specific demographic for it to hit the wider consciousness. I've been pushing family to call reps, to act, all year. This is what it took to move some of them which is infuriating
Also, people really don't like to hear this. But if white folks weren't in the streets getting killed on camera, we wouldn't be talking about this. This has been happening for a year. America is expert at ignoring shit as long as you at least attempt to hide it. We're just reaching a limit.

They don't care about this either. The only reason this is hard to weasel out of is there's nobody else to blame. With school shootings you can blame "lone gunman", parents, inept local police. But this is a federal agency exciting the president's direct orders.
Dead kids didn’t matter. Endless school shootings didn’t matter. But a single liberal with a firearm? That broke the GOP.
